LANDSCAPES
Diana Mead paints landscapes in both oils and watercolours. Like Alfred Sisley, the English Impressionist, she believes that the sky is the heart of the picture, dictating its mood and subsequent development. In her paintings she tries to capture the spirit of the location while being true to its topography.
Barmouth Bay, North Wales
Wales, with its endless variety of mountains, lakes and coasts, moulded by the elements, is Diana`s most constant inspiration. In all her work there is an awareness of Man`s influence - for good and bad - on the present landscape.

Druidstone, West Wales
Diana has also worked abroad, mounting exhibitions based on her travels in Southern Ireland, Italy and the Low Countries and Venice.
