Snowdrops
It's always such a delight when the snowdrops arrive. Winter has been hard with some particularly unpleasant weather so they are extra-special this year. It's very strange but they open on 19th January every year without fail.
The Winter honeysuckle has flowered continuously from December providing essential Winter food for the bees. It's been lovely to see flowers brightening up the garden during the dark, gloomy days.
The occasional Winter Iris has flowered when there is a warmer spell of weather, a lovely, fleeting splash of colour to bring a smile to my face.

St. Augustine's from Church Avenue
I've brought this pen and watercolour print back into the shop. It started life as a hand-coloured black and white pen drawing many years ago when colour printing was expensive. It was quite a chore to keep producing it but fortunataely printing has inproved and costs have come down so it's back.
More Bijou prints, this time with flower theme. I've added gentle backgrounds to the wild daffodils and the anemones to give more strength and depth. The bijou prints are lovely on their own but look really nice in blocks of four as an eye-catching feature. Two or three could be hung as a vertical column on a narrow wall space. There is a good selection and you can choose from flowers, Venice, landscape and British wildlife.
