Indoors this month to enjoy the Gloriosa lily coming into flower. My original tuber produced 3 new ones and I have planted them in a single pot with a bamboo structure to climb. As it grew to about 4ft. last year, I wound it about on the support. At the end of each leaf is a mini-tendril and I had great fun getting them to "hold hands" to keep them in place rather than use twine. I may try to grow it on a small obelisk next year.
The roses are beautiful at the moment. I love this view from my front window looking up the garden looking through the ferns and white astilbes in the foreground to the garden beyond. Everything has struggled this year with the drought but all these are deep-rooted and have fared better.

I am having an exhibition of my original paintings, prints and cards with my daughter Amanda, Silk Moon Creative and her hand-crafted fabric items including her popular Christmas Jumper Patches. We are both offering items for sale, profits to be donated to The Children's Society. We were unable to do this last year because of Covid restrictions so it is great to be able to do it again this year.
