Hellebores

The hellebores are at their best now, a lovely  splash of colour in the shade border. I am especially delighted to see the double white (far left) in flower, It disappeared for a couple of years and I thought it had died. The pink one in the front of the picture was purchased a few years ago from a  specialist hellebore nursery near Wells which is focused on creating new varieties.   
it is a taller plant with small double flowers in profusion. It has produced a seedling, also pink , which is flowering for the first time this year.

Artisans Corner

My Welsh and English Mother's Day cards are now in Artisans Corner, Penarth. They are all hand-finished and, although I have shown flowers here, there are other designs included.
