Amaryllis Jewel
I love Amaryllis and I have a small collection of these beautiful indoor plants which flower in early Spring
Jewel is my absolute favourite. It is quite compact and produces both double and single flowers. These are a group of three in a single pot which emphasises the variation in their individual flowers. THe loose orange background wash is pure fantasy on my part. I just thought it would look good. Watercolour |

The garden also a source of inspiration for many of her paintings. Sunflowers
There's a certain magic in looking up to bright yellow sunflowers set against a blue Summer sky. Technically it's colour wheel contrast but emotionally it's joyous.

FIeld Poppies and Dandelion Clocks
Poppies growing in cornfield are a nostalgic image of hot Sommer days and dandelion clocks make a fragile, airy contrast.
